Recall Alert: Kia, Braised Beef Rib Pot Pie, K-Fresh Enoki Mushrooms and Paccar Round Out The List
There are a variety of products in this week’s recall alerts ranging from vehicle to food products to electronics. See the recalls below:
Kia does recall for a brake line that could fail & leak
On certain vehicles, the inspection completed by a Kia dealer during service campaign SC044 (Transport Canada recall number 2022-222) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second inspection is required. Over time, the brake lines under the vehicle could corrode. If this happens, a brake line could fail and leak. A brake fluid leak can result in reduced braking.

Paccar recalls more than 116,000 trucks
Paccar recalls more than 116,000 trucks for gear shifter issue. On certain trucks, the wiring in the right-hand shift stalk may not be properly connected. As a result, you may not be able to shift the transmission back into gear after coming to a stop.
The Pie Commission brand Braised Beef Rib Pot Pie recalled due to undeclared anchovy
The affected product is being recalled from the marketplace because it contains anchovy which is not declared on the label.

K-Fresh brand Enoki Mushroom recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes
The affected product is being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
President's Choice brand milk chocolate has been recalled across Canada
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled a President’s Choice brand milk chocolate bar sold across Canada. The recall was first flagged on March 8, 2024, and could cause a serious health and safety risk to Canadian consumers.
