Recall on Costco Advent Calendar
Costco has issued a product advisory for a treat advent calendar made for dogs. The advisory urges anyone who has purchased the calendar to immediately stop feeding the treats to their pets out of an “abundance of caution”.
Costco says that anyone who has purchased the Irish Rover 2021 Advent Calendar for Dogs (item 2462182) between October 1st and December 8th can return it to a Costco warehouse for a full refund.
The advent calendar is 25 days of dog treats including a total of 80 single dog treats. The different kinds of treats in the calendar include chicken breast jerky smoked flavor, surf n’turf recipe, chicken jerky recipe, and turkey pumpkin spice flavored treats. Costco said Irish dog foods is reviewing quality concerns and the product does not meet Costco’s quality standards.
Costco says, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask you to please pass this information along to anyone to whom the product may have been given.”
