Recall Alerts: PC Salt, Ford, & Blenders on the List This Week
This week’s recalls are all over the map. There are product recalls for food, vehicles, seasonings, and appliances. Check out the list to help keep your loved ones safe.
Century Tuna
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced last month that Century Tuna’s Flaked Light Tuna Hot & Spicy Style (180 g) has been recalled due to undeclared gluten on its label. Read more >>>

President’s Choice Salt
The affected products are President’s Choice brand Mediterranean Sea Salts and Himalayan Pink Rock Salts. They have been distributed nationally.
The Mediterranean Sea Salts product is 360 g in size and has the UPC number 0 60383 97655 2, while the Himalayan Pink Rock Salts product is 390 g in size and has the UPC number 0 60383 18288 5.
The recall involves all best before dates up to and including Jan. 17, 2026. Read more >>>

Ford Recall
Ford Canada issued a recall for four 2024 models, warning of issues on vehicles with 3.5-litre turbo engines that can increase the risk of a crash or fire. The recall applies to the F-150 (police interceptor truck), Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. Read more >>>

Acura Recall
Drivers of newer model Acura TLX sedans are being advised of an issue with the fuel filler neck in their vehicles.
In a recall notice posted last week, parent company Honda said the part may not have been properly welded to the fuel tank, and could cause a leak as a result. These types of leaks can lead to fires. Read more >>>
Land Rover Recall
Land Rover is recalling newer model Range Rovers in Canada, warning of a possible water leak that could impact rearview cameras. The company said in a notice last week that leaks could impact the image from the camera or block it entirely. Read More >>>
Smoothie Blender
the BlendJet2 “can overheat or catch fire and the blender blades can break off, posing fire and laceration hazards to consumers.” This recall has been initiated after BlendJet who has received approximately 329 reports of the blades breaking while in use, and an additional 17 reports of overheating or fires” and “about 49 reports of minor burns and one report of a laceration injury.” Read More >>>

Fromagerie Des Grondine
Some Fromagerie des Grondines cheeses are being recalled in Canada for possible generic E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus contamination.
The recalled cheeses include Festin Soft Cheese, Tomme de la chevrotière raw goat milk semi soft cheese, D’eschambault, Tomme des galets raw sheep goat milk semi soft, Raclé, Clos des roches raw milk firm paste, Grondines, Le Grand 2, and Foin-de-grèves. Read More >>>
