Recall Alerts: Chrysler, Kawasaki & Mio Top List of Canadian Recalls
If you thought we had a huge recall list last week, this week is no different. There are a wide variety of products recalls in Canada in the last few days. Products affected by recalls include, vehicles, medical equipment, food products, electronics, pet products, and much more. Check out the list below for more details.
Chrysler is recalling over 211,000 vehicles, including 17,000 in Canada, because of a software malfunction.
Stellantis-owned Chrysler is recalling over 211,000 SUVs and pickup trucks in the U.S. and Canada due to a software malfunction that could disable the vehicles’ electronic stability control systems. The recall affects specific model year 2022 Dodge Durango, Ram 2500, and Ram 3500 vehicles. See More >>>
Kawasaki engines in certain lawn and garden equipment have been recalled due to a safety hazard.
Kawasaki engines in select Bad Boy Mowers, Bobcat, Cub Cadet, Hustler, John Deere, and Kubota lawn and garden equipment have been recalled due to a fire and burn hazard. Approximately 900 units were sold in Canada, while 68,500 were sold in the U.S. Although no fires or injuries have been reported in Canada, there have been eight reports of fires in the U.S., with no injuries. MiO Energy Drink Mixes recalled in Canada because of potentially unsafe caffeine levels
Kraft Heinz Canada is recalling MiO Energy brand Energy Drink Mixes due to potentially unsafe caffeine levels. The recall was initiated following inspection activities by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). According to the CFIA, the recalled products were distributed nationwide in Canada.

It is possible that when the kettle is plugged in, the kettle base can overheat and the plastic on the electrical wire can melt, which can cause a fire hazard. As of May 30, 2024, the company has received 3 incident reports related to the base of the kettle overheated during use. No injuries have been reported. See the recall >>>
