Perth-Andover Winter Freeze Fest
February 22 to 25, 2024 | Perth-Andover
There is so much to do at the Perth-Andover Winter Freeze Fest. This 4-day winter festival includes daily musical performances, dining and cultural experiences, sporting opportunities, and a 2-day event grounds jammed back with outside activities and entertainment for everyone.

Freeze Your Gizzard Fundraising Race
February 24, 2024 | Montague, PE
This year’s Freeze Your Gizzard winter race will be on February 24, beginning at 9:30 am. This is a fundraiser for high school athletic teams. A PEI Roadrunner’s Points Race (5 km, 10 km and half marathon distances only, not virtual), the Freeze Your Gizzard is one of the more challenging races on PEI. Not only do runners get to deal with the cooler temperatures, snow and ice, but also get to do it while running some lovely hills around Montague. The Half Marathon begins at 9:30 am, followed by the 10 km start time of 9:45 am, and finally, the 5 km run at 10 am. This is a great opportunity to run a half marathon for anyone planning a full marathon in the spring. There will only be pre-registration for this race. On-site registration will not be available. Registration closes at 5 pm on February 23.

Kouchibouguac National Park
All Year Round | Kouchibouguac, NB
Kouchibouguac National Park stretches along the Acadian Coastal Drive and has some of the most dazzling views in the winter. The park is open year around, so you can hike or snowshoe through the park during the winter to see all the beautiful views and have an unforgettable adventure.

Membertou Heritage Park Guided Tour
November 01, 2023 to March 02, 2024 | Membertou Heritage Park, NS
Learn about Mi’kmaw culture on a guided tour, see a birch bark canoe and wigwam, and connect with traditions and stories of Membertou.
Enjoy ancient displays and a video introduction through a guided tour of Membertou Heritage Park. Depending on the day, a tour may include a Traditional Mi’kmaq Drumming and Chanting presentation and/or the traditional Mi’kmaq Dice game. Don’t forget to visit Petroglyphs Gift Shop, which specializes in Indigenous arts and crafts from across Canada.
